- MB
- Short for megabyte - Used to describe disk storage capacity, file size and transmission rates, a megabyte is 1,000,000 bytes in decimal notation.

- Short for kilobyte - Used to describe disk storage capacity, file size and transmission rates, there is 1,024 kilobytes in one megabyte.
- EPS
- "Encapsulated Postscript", which is a sophisticated file format for capturing precise image and text information. Because of the mathematical basis for building the format, EPS files are the most reliable method for communicating artwork. Vector based EPS files can be scaled to any size without loss of detail.
- JPG
- (JPEG) Joint Photographic Experts Group. A compression technique used for saving images and photographs. This compression method reduced the file size of the images without reducing its quality. Widely used on the World Wide Web.
- DPI
- Dots per inch. Sometimes expressed as pixels per inch. For bitmap images, the number of individual elements of color information per inch. Internet dpi is 72 & print dpi is recommended at 300.
